• December 2007, Christmas Luncheon
  Holiday musical entertainment was by the Huntsville Community Children’s Chores directed by Suzanne Purtee. In addition, Franz and Ingrid Gericke again delighted us with their German musical Christmas renditions played on the Zither and Tuba. The awards presentation for retiring board members was announced at the function.
  

NEWSLETTER-Christmas Luncheon

The Friends of German Culture, Board of Directors invited all its Members, Friends and Guests to our annual Christmas function at the Huntsville Heritage Club.

Date: December 9, 2007

Time: 12:00 PM - ? PM

Location: The Huntsville Heritage Club, 111 Washington Street, Downtown Huntsville (See Map Below)

Menu: There were two menu choices preceded by a gourmet salad with assorted dressings. Entrée Choice No.1: Tilapia with lemon caper sauce, rice pilaf and vegetables of the day. Entrée Choice No. 2: Roasted pork with porcini mushroom sauce, roasted red potatoes and vegetables of the day. Both choices included fresh rolls, coffee, iced tea and water. Dessert: Key lime pie or pecan pie. Cash bar serving a selection of house wines and domestic beer.

Cost: $19.00 per person (Same as last year)

Due to personal reasons, Walter Jacobi (FOGC Treasurer) was not able to accept your function payment checks and RSVPs, so please send your checks to Peter Cox (FOGC President) at 9608 Todd Mill Road Huntsville, AL 35803 and RSVP no later than December 3, 2007. Note: If your DUES were not paid for 2007 or previous years, look at you address label which indicates last year paid. Please include a check for your dues (Students $6.00, Single $8.00, Couples $14.00, Corporate $15.00).
