NEWSLETTER-Christmas Luncheon

The Friends of German Culture, Board of Directors would like to
invite all its Members, Friends and Guests to our annual Christmas function
at the Huntsville Heritage Club.
Date: December 14, 2008

Time: 12:00 PM - ? PM

Location: The Huntsville Heritage Club, 111 Washington Street, Downtown Huntsville

Menu: There were three menu choices preceded by a gourmet salad with assorted dressings. Entrée Choice No.1: Baked Chicken & Smoked Gouda en Croute (Sun Dried Tomato Sauce). Entrée Choice No. 2: Beef Stroganoff Fettucini (Pearl Onions, Crimini Mushrooms & Sour Cream Sauce). Entrée Choice No. 3: Seared White Wine & Shallot Tilapia (Citrus Champagne Sauce) includes Wild Rice Pilaf, and Vegetable Medley. Entree’s include fresh rolls, coffee, iced tea and water. Dessert: Amaretto Whipped Cream & Fresh Berries (Toasted Walnut & Chocolate Sauce). Cash bar serving a selection of house wines and domestic beer.

Cost Per Person: $19.00 per person (Same as last Year)

Program: Holiday musical entertainment was provided by the Huntsville Friends String Ensemble. The Huntsville High School Choral Group was also performing at the Heritage Club for our pleasure. Our appreciation goes out to Brigitte Winch and Gisela Rieger for arranging our Christmas program and luncheon.

Important Information
It’s important that the Heritage Club has a final attendance count no later than 9 December 2008 so please send your checks for our Christmas function to Gertrude Nein (FOGC Treasurer) at 1528 Chandler Road, Huntsville, AL 35801 prior to that date. Along with your check indicate what Entrée(s) you have selected. If you have any question, please call 883-1005 or 653-4764.

Note: If your DUES have not been paid for 2008 or previous years, look at you address label which indicates last year paid. Please include a check for your dues (Students $6.00, Single $8.00, Couples $14.00, Corporate $15.00).
